On March 11 Scott turned 30! After dreading this day for wayyyy too long it finally got here, and I think he realized that turning 30 wasn’t too bad and didn’t change a thing for him!
His Mom and Step-Dad were still here so we all loaded up and headed for Scott’s favorite Texas place to eat, 5D Cattle Company. It’s a cute little steak house that he LOVES. Most places in Texas are ‘dry’ (they don’t sell alcohol). 5D is dry, however, they allow you to BYOB (bring your own boose!) They even have chilled beer mugs if you need them. So how cute could we have looked when we arrived: 4 adults, 2 kids, a diaper bag…and an ice chest!
We had a great dinner and got a good giggle when Scott got surprised with a serving of peach cobbler and ‘Happy Birthday’ sung by all of the waitresses.
Loves the pictures!! Can't wait for the party pictures and I am so glad you were able to pull it off. I'm really glad Scott realized turning 30 isn't all that bad, there are many more to come!!

We sure had a lot of fun, and so glad we could spend the day with Scott even though that means I am a year older too!! Great food and great company.
