Our last Day of vacation

Our very last (real) day in California was spent saying some very sad goodbyes. We had such a great time, and although it went by too quickly, we made some great memories. One last family get-together at the Ranch gave us a chance to say hello and goodbye to a little more family. These pictures below are a hodge-podge of a bunch of stuff. Jessica and Amy fed lemons to Gunner & Karlee which led to some pretty funny puckered up faces. In another picture you will see Gunner has mud all over his face…Jessica took the kids down to the barn to see the horses and while down there the kids decided to take advantage of her niceness and JUMP in a huge mud puddle…way too funny! Karlee dressed Gammie up in her pink bow, which looked way too cute on her. I got to plant a couple more kisses on my nephew Ty which was so nice. Gunner & Karlee had to say Good bye to their Papa and you can tell by the lack of smiles that they were not very happy about it. They still aren’t happy about it, and at least once a day they ask where Papa is…followed by Noni…followed by Booker…followed by Baja…followed by Grandma…followed by Ashee….followed by “baby” (Ty)…and on and on. It never stops! Usually after saying 4 or 5 names one of them will say “We go high in the sky in a pane(airplane)?” And I’ll say “Yes, we went high in the sky in an airplane” and then one of them (usually Karlee) will start to tear up and say in a sweet, sad voice “We go see them again?” So sweet that they had so much fun with everyone that they want to go back….so sad that we live so far away :(

Oh, one of the pictures you will see Karlee with a spoon and no one paying attention to her…she’s eating spoonfuls of spinach dip right out of the bowl!!! (I scolded her once the picture was taken…couldn’t miss the moment!) I also had some very special family come out to see us, and I’m so thankful that they did!
