Christmas tree, Oh plastic Christmas Tree....
Sing it with me... "Christmas Tree, Oh plastic Christmas tree, why do you look so stifffffff?" Yup, we have finally updated ourselves to the year 2009 and purchases an artificial Christmas tree...and although our house doesn't smell like a delicious pine tree, I do like the fact that I don't have to water the tree every morning and sweep up pine needles every night :) We won't use this tree every year since we really LOVE our annual trip to the Christmas tree farm but since we will be gone for almost 2 weeks this year for Christmas we decided to forgo the normal fresh-cut Christmas tree and substitute this pretty little one...just this once. We almost didn't get one at all (I know...bahumbug!) but Scott gave me the guilt trip...he asked if it would really BE Christmas without a tree....so as a family we went to our local Walmart and "picked one out together" to keep the tradition going :)

OMG.....these pictures are priceless, I love the one where Gunner isn't touching the lights but squatting over looking at them, ADORABLE!! Karlee is little Miss Christmas in all red...cute, cute, cute. Can't wait to see everyone!

There is nothing wrong with an artificial tree. We've had one for 2 years now. You should have splurged for a pre-lit tree though. The pictures are very cute and I am glad Scott guilted you into the tree.
