I am WAY behind on my blogging…so sorry! And considering we have a lot going on in the coming weeks before we leave for California, I can’t promise it will get much better. I still need to blog on parade’s, Christmas trees, and a couple other things, but finding time has been hard with last-minute photo shoots and a wedding. I’ve also been busy trying to get all of us packed for the big trip…very challenging with 2 little ones running around.
Enough about that, let’s get on to more important things such as our latest visitor, Aunt Vivie! She flew all the way from California to visit us and it was wonderful. She stayed for a week and got to spend Thanksgiving with us. While she was here she taught Scott and I how to make a Rodger’s family recipe, Portuguese Sweet Bread. It was delicious! It ended up taking a LOT longer than we thought to rise, so the poor thing stayed up until 3am so that we could enjoy it for Thanksgiving morning along with Linguisa she brought in from California. Not only did she bring the sausage for us, she also carried a huge pot that she said would help make the sweetbread better…what a pain that had to have been to carry on the airplane. It was such a great visit, and the kids loved her. They played hide and seek, built a fort out of blankets, and LOVED the monkey's she got them. As you will see, they cried BIG tears when they realized she had left….so sad! Thank you for everything Auntie Viv, we love you!

And SO SAD when Auntie Viv left :(

Daddy took them to Taco Bell to cheer them up...such a sweet guy!

Later that weekend we took them for a quick ride in the yard

, and as we were putting Molly away we realized they were no where to be found....looked around and take a look at where we found them:
CLIMBING A LADDER!!!! So we told them to get down. They listened for a minute, then Karlee came running over to Tattle on her brother...

and this is where he was:
Ahhhh, the joys of Brotherly-Sisterly love :)
