Hey everyone. Just a quick request before the weekend begins. Please keep my neice, Ashlee, in your thoughts and prayers. (She's the cutie-pie in this picture sitting closest to Gunner).
I'll try to explain this as clearly as possible. Ashlee went in for a regular eye exam about a month ago, and had extremely blurry vision in her left eye. The doctor said that glasses wouldn't correct the problem so she was referred to a Specialist. At that appointment the specialist did a pressure test, dilated her eyes, then numbered her eyes to check the thickness, and then x-rayed to view the Optical nerves. After all of that the results caused the doctor to be concerned, so the doctor ordered an MRI to check the detail of the Optical nerves, and to check her brain. The MRI was Thursday (yesterday, April 30), and they were told the Doctor would read the results Monday. Well, my sister in law Michele got a phone call earlier today, asking her to bring Ashlee back in tomorrow (Saturday) for another MRI to see differant angles. As you can imagine our entire family is on pins and needles, and are praying beyond belief that everything is fine.
I ask all of you to keep Ashlee and her ENTIRE family in your thoughts and prayers this weekend.
