Father-Daughter Dance '09

Saturday, February 14 was the annual Father-Daughter dance, so Scott and Karlee got all spiffed up and headed to town to boogie! It is SUCH a neat tradition, and I'm so lucky to have a Husband that cares enough about his little girl to take her, even though she's too young to tell him she wants to go. It was a SPECIAL occasion, so Daddy shaved, and Karlee got to have a smelly-good bubble bath.

Before the dance, we met Travis, Holly and Kara at Randy's burgers, the local hamburger joint, and had some delicious cheeseburgers. Normally it would have just been the Dad's and their little girl's, but since it was Valentines Day Gunner, Holly and I got invited for a romantic dinner :)

It sounds like it was a great night. Scott said Karlee had so much fun, and kept twirling her dress around, stomping her feet and waving her arms to the beat of the music. He thinks they'll close the place down next year, since when they left at 8:45 Karlee was no where near ready to leave!
