Papa & Noni come to visit!

What a fun week we have had- Gunner & Karlee had a house-full of Grandparent loving!!! The Papa & Noni came back to visit them and shower them with Love, Hugs and Kisses. Right from the beginning the kids took right to them. Not that we didn't think they would, but since it had been a couple months since Gunner & Karlee had seen them I thought it would take a little while before they started climbing all over them....NOPE! As soon as Noni got out of the truck Karlee ran to her and gave her a hug with Gunner right on her heels to hug his Papa. Once in the house the hugging continued!

After LOTS of hugs and kisses the kids took a bath to show off their new drum set from their Auntie Linz. They LOVE the drums and LOVE hitting each other with the drum sticks. I LOVE the drums because they scoop up so much water making it MUCH easier to wash their hair! (Thank you Linz!)

Scott was also VERY excited to have visitors....it meant Free help around the ranch! He wasted NO time putting his Dad to work splitting and stacking wood. Gunner & Karlee love getting to be outside, so Noni took them everywhere around the property, and they LOVED every second of it.

Gunner & Karlee also LOVED taking Papa's hat from him and wearing it around the house...they thought it was pretty neat he would share with them.
<---And look at that face!!! Safe to say she LOVES her PAPA!
One evening after the kids went to bed, Scott and his Dad started wrestling so hard that they knocked the recliner over backwards. By the time I finally got up and got my camera on this was all I was able to catch, but look at them go!
Before we knew it, it was time for Papa and Noni to pack up and head back to California. Karlee cried BIG alligator tears and Gunner was so sad he fell asleep on Noni...think he thought if he fell asleep she wouldn't wake him and would stay forever!
We had SUCH an amazing visit with John and Deb. They are so easy-going, and are absolutely the perfect company. We are so grateful to have them in our lives, and look forward to their next visit!

The pictures below are a couple I took last week but forgot to post. The adorable little girl is Andrea, and she's the daughter of one of Scott's buddies. The boys went out hunting, so Andrea came over to watch Chic-flicks with me. If you look at the last 2 pictures, you can see we accidentally left a Hershey's chocolate candy out and Gunner got into it :)

  1. That looks like a whole lot of fun with the grandparents! I love the chocolate pics! Our little ones made a huge chocolate mess with some Nestle Quick chocolate milk powder mix. They had gotten it off the table and into the bedroom where they were found eating hand fulls of the chocolate. What a mess but oh so cute!
