Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! We rang in the New Year down at Travis’s house just north of Houston. John and Deb were nice enough to watch the babies for us, so this was only the second time we’ve spent the night away from them, but the first time we’ve been out of the same zip code. It was rough leaving them, but considering Gunner & Karlee seemed to like their Papa & Noni more than they liked their own Mommy and Daddy, it wasn’t as hard to leave as I’d originally expected! We had a pretty low-key evening, and as much as I wanted to close my eyes and go to sleep around 10:30 we actually saw the New Year in awake. We had a great time and loved getting to see Trav’s new house and property that he’s worked so hard for. We also got to see his Grandma and Grandpa and all of his Grandpa’s bird dogs and puppies! We had a great time, but it was nice to get home and squeeze those munchkins of ours :) Hope all of you had a GREAT 2008. We’re looking forward to an even better 2009!
