Karlee is doing amazing. I guess she just needed to keep us on our toes and remind us that, although she's usually the healthy one, she still can get sick too! Since Sunday's seizure, she has been FINE! We appreciate all of the phone calls, visits, emails,thoughts and prayers. It's means to much to us to know that we are surrounded by such loving caring friends and family. THANK YOU!
Changing the subject to a lighter note, remember that essay I submitted over the summer, and the winner would receive a photo shoot? Well I did my photo shoot on Saturday and although it felt strange at first to have an entire photo session devoted to just ME, it was fun! It's been a long time since I've got to go shopping for a new shirt, and it's been a long time since I spent an extra amount of time doing my make up until it was "just perfect". Once you have kids your appearance sometimes becomes an afterthought (and it should because your kids should always come first!), but it was so neat to get those butterflies in my stomach again and be nervous for something just for the fun of it. I felt like a college-girl again getting ready for a big date! For my friends out there who are all grown up, and married and have kids you MUST DO THIS SOMETIME! You MUST get all dressed up, pamper yourself and have pictures taken of yourself ONLY! Although I'm not at the perfect weight, this is me NOW, and my babies will forever have these pictures of me just being me. She is incredibly talented, and had such a warmth about her that made you feel like you had been friends forever. Way too much fun :)
