Santa comes to the Fire Department!

Thursday night, while Scott played Santa for the last time for the Police Department's Blue Christmas (This is the last year they are doing blue Christmas), the kids and I met with the REAL Santa at the Fire Department. Santa brought Santa Sacks for the kids (bags filled with fruit, candy, gum, cracker jacks and candy canes!) as well as a special suprise for each child that they were allowed to open before Christmas! After Santa handed out all of the goodies, the kids got to go for a ride on the fire engines, complete with lights and sirens. Karlee rode on top with other kids and some firemen all by herself (without me!) and Gunner & I rode inside because Gman wanted to "be a fighterman and the fightermen ride inside!"
We had a great time and they are STILL talking about it. They keep telling Scott they are sorry he had to work and maybe next time if he's good he can go see Santa!!!

    Awe how cute are they!!! Can't believe Scott won't be Santa again...he does it so well...looks like they had so much fun and are looking SO grown up!!

    Sounds like a GREAT time! Ask the kids if we can ride on the fire engine with them ... in 2 and a wake-up!
