My entire life I have always wanted to ring the bell, but thought you had to be 'someone special' to do it. WRONG! When I had the chance I jumped at it, and so glad we did. Gunner & Karlee LOVED ringing the bell and waving at all of the shoppers walking into walmart. Some of the people even let the kiddos put money in the kettle for them and you should have seen the kids faces! WHenever that would happen they would squeal with delight and give the person donating a big hug...then you should have seen the donator's face: complete disbelief that they were being hugged by a complete stranger, and at age 3 no less!
Selfishly this was SUCH a great thing to do. You have no idea how GOOD it feels to do something so positive! You should try it in a town near you, all of the 'cool kids' are doing it :)

And they were the cutest little bell ringers too!!! I cant wait till my boys are old enough to do this. It was great seeing yall!!!!
ReplyDeleteAAAHHH....that is adorable...Lyndee, I am so glad that you introduce the kids to all sorts or things and events...I bet they have done more in their little 3 yrs than a lot of kids do in their childhood. Thanks for being such a good mom.
