Our day with Jim and Kathy-Vacation Day ?!?!

Okay, I have completely and absolutely lost track of what we did when and what order we did all of this in. At one time I could have told you the day of the week it happened on, but it’s been wayyyy too long since then, so I’m sorry! I’m sure you really don’t care anyway :)

One of the days we were on vacation we went to King City to see Jim, Kathy, Kristy and all of the girls. To those of you who don’t know who Jim is he’s like a 2^nd Dad to me. When my Dad passed away he offered to stand in at times when I needed a Dad, and I most certainly took him up on his offer. In High school a couple friends and I stole a bunch of cones at a construction site. My Mom threatened to call the police on me and have me arrested, so who did I call? Jim! He came rushing right over and returned the cones for me. When I ditched school who did I go see? Jim! And he always covered for me :) When my Mom got sick and we needed the kitchen slightly changed up to accommodate our washer and dryer who did we call? Jim! He gave me away at my wedding. And these days when I go MONTHS without returning a phone call he never makes me feel bad or scolds me and when I DO actually catch up with him he still makes me feel like I’m the most important person in the world. A trip wouldn’t be a trip without a visit to see him and Kathy! AND although I know he HATES Mexican food he never says no when I ask if we can go eat at my favorite local Mexican place…yup, he must really love me :)

….And what’s with me striking a pose on the Classic truck?!?! I was trying my best to be a Car-show model :) This is Jim’s latest toy and I thought I might as well take advantage of a chance to strike a pose….Hey! He lets the big-boobied girls at car-shows do it, why can’t I?!?!
