Fun with Papa & Noni: Vacation

The highlight of our trip was getting to spend time with family, and making sure Gunner & Karlee know how much they are loved by family members they don’t get to see on a daily basis. To say that Gunner & Karlee were surrounded by Love the ENTIRE time is a huge understatement. From the time we arrived until the time we got back on the plane they were loved, spoiled and doted on, and we are sooooo thankful!

While we were in California they spent lots of time with Papa & Noni. They went to the park and the zoo, and Papa & Noni were kind enough to watch them while Scott & I got to go out for New Years Eve! They talk about Papa, Noni and Booker (the dog!) constantly and won’t quick asking, “Where Papa go? Where Noni go? Where Booker?” SO it’s safe to say Papa & Noni (& Booker too!) made a huge impression on them. At this age you can’t force Love upon them so when they won’t quit asking for someone you know it’s genuine LOVE!!!

…And a sweet note, at Church yesterday Karlee says to me “Mommy it’s Tata!!! Tata Mommy, Tata!!!” as she pointed at one of the ladies at Church…and to be completely honest she actually looked like Tata! (Tata is Deb’s Mom, so Karlee’s Great Grandma)…how cool is that, that Karlee actually remembered someone and would point them out?!?! After Church I had to tell the lady she looked like someone Karlee knew because at the time I think she thought it was a little strange that Karlee had a HUGE smile and kept pointing while yelling “Tata Mommy!”
