I’m sorry!!! Work has been VERY busy this week and as you know, our internet at home is painfully slow so I upload pictures to the blog at work. When work is busy I don’t blog because I really, really like my job and want to keep it! Anyway, I know I am VERY behind at the blog and will do my best to catch up. We still have a couple more days of our trip so even if it takes me another week I promise I will get the pictures up…I just hope it’s sooner than later :)
Okay, here is our day after Christmas. This was a Saturday, and Scott originally had plans to go hunting, so I made plans to spend the day with my cousin, Amy. John & Deb wanted to spend as much time with Gunner & Karlee as they could, so it worked out perfectly. Amy picked me up and we headed to San Luis Obispo to do some shopping and watch a movie. SO much fun to get a girl’s day out!!! We had lunch at our favorite college-days hangout and reminisced about going to school in SLO. Scott didn’t end up going hunting, so he got to spend time with the kids and with family which I know he enjoyed. When Amy and I got home from SLO everyone was eating dinner…yummy Tri tip! After dinner all of us sat down and played cards. I LOVE my family (When I say “family” I mean everyone…whether that’s through blood or marriage), and am so lucky to be a part of such a wonderful group of people!!!
…Have I said how great this trip was?!?! If I haven’t, we had a great trip, and just a warning, I will probably say it over and over again until I’m done blogging about our vacation!
