Under the Big Top

This post is a little late, but since I've been blogging it up so much lately I didn't want to overwhelm you with too many pictures...hahaha, can their ever be TOO many pictures?!?! I don't think so! BUT finding time to get this on the blog with everything else we have going on has been challenging lately.
The circus came to town and we had so much fun hanging out 'under the big top'! Gunner and Karlee rode the ponies and Gunner and I rode an elephant! We tried to talk Karlee in to riding either the elephant or a camel but she wasn't having ANY part of that. We met Travis, Holly and Kara and the kids had a great time together as usual. Gunner thinks Kara is his girlfriend and it's adorable. Travis doesn't think it's so cute, but what does he know, anyway? The kids also got to get their picture taken with a gigantuous snake...what a sweet Daddy they have! After filling up on Peanuts, popcorn and cotton candy we left completely stuffed and the kids left ready to run away with the circus. I think they said "Bye Circus" the entire way home!

They should have the disclaimer posted: Elephants are MUCH LARGER THAN THEY APPEAR when you're up on their backs!

...and remember those silver things the elephants sat and stood on (pictured above)? Well we walk outside and Gunner runs over to them, climbs up and strikes a pose! I think he was inspired by all of the circus acts and thought he might get to steal the show! And since Karlee would be an only-child if Gunner joined the circus, she decided to not be outdone!
