I think the petting zoo and pony rides were probably a tie for their favorites. Gunner is turning into such a funny guy lately. All of a sudden, he wants to ride EVERYTHING. In the petting zoo he walks over to a goat, tries to swing his leg over and says "I wanna ride it." This continued to almost every goat that he got close to. If you look at all of his pictures, he's not trying to give the goat a hug, he's trying to climb up on it's back! He was really in his element on the pony rides. Just beebopped along as if he was out on the range, and was in serious thought. He should have been born 100 years ago so he could have spent his life on horseback. (just a story that's a little off-topic...Sunday morning we were watching TV and a show with cowboys roping calves was on TV. Scott and I look over and he's sitting on the arm of the loveseat, bouncing up and down, swinging his arm in the air (like he was roping a calf) shouting "Wanna ride it!") I think it just might be time for us to invest in a pony because poor Sheba is tired of being bounced on!

While his sissy was riding, this is what Gunner was doing:

Trying to get back INSIDE to the pony rides! Had I been able to continue taking pictures, you would have seen him INSIDE the fenced off area! I had to stop taking pictures because he was determined on getting back on a pony.I think Gunner & Karlee will grow up just like their Mom and Dad to be 4-H and FFA showmen judging by how much they loved the pigs, cattle and sheep in the barns. I can't think of many things that would make us prouder than that! I have so many memories of hours spent grooming my sheep and hogs and time spent in the fair barns. To have them make such great memories and learn such great life lessons would be an exciting accomplishment for us.

<---Gunner being a stud-muffin!We had such a great time with our kiddos and friends at the fair this year and can't wait to do it again next year!

I love the pics! I wish we could have gone to the fair with you guys! It looks like you all had so much fun!
