Pumpkin patch '08

On Thursday afternoon we went to the Pumpkin Patch! Last year at this time Gunner & Karlee were SO tiny, and so fragile, and so frail that it's hard to believe that only one year has passed since they were born. Karlee is walking everywhere as you can see in these pictures, and Gunner is probably only a couple of weeks away from rocking our world. Over the past week he's started standing up on his own, and has started taking a step or two here, three or four steps there, so I know that before we know it he'll be running from us just like his sister. The neighborhood cat decided to pay us a visit while we were at the Pumpkin Patch, and at one point Daddy had to rush in a save his precious princess from a cat-attack...I thought it was funny and that Karlee deserved to be hissed at (Karlee climbed on top of the sweet, purring cat and pinned it to the ground as she started pulling hair out of it's tail!) Daddy on the other hand can't see that his little girl does anything wrong, so he was on Karlee's side and thought the cat shouldn't have come to visit because it should have known a one-year old would attack it...poor cat!!! Needless to say the cat left with less hair, and Karlee left laughing at the cat. They LOVED the pumpkins! They thought they were life-size things to chew on, and Karlee thought one of the pumpkin stems was a straw...you should have heard the suction she had going on it! We had a blast and can't wait to start carving our pumpkins!
