Hey everyone! Just wanted to quickly post and let you know that we survived Hurricane Ike! We had some STRONGGGGGG winds that blew a couple trees across the roads around our property, we had some pretty fierce rain that blew so hard it blew inside the vent in our laundry room that caused the floor to be a little wet, and we lost electricity for a couple of hours, but that was about it.
On Sunday the sun was shining, so we got a little more work done on our pipe fence. I'll try to take a couple pictures of the progress we've made this afternoon and post them later this week.
Other than that we're just gearing up for this weekend's monumental event: Gunner & Karlee's 1st Birthday! My Grammie, Aunt Wendy, cousin Amy, and Scott's Mom and Step-Dad will be flying end later this week so we can get the party started a little early!
